Grabbed some sunshine!

The sun decided to shine in the UK for a day, so Mi-newtkites wasted no time in getting out the for a fly. It was a brilliant day of flying fun and advertisment, two bright pink flying pigs above Okehampton drew attention (funnily enough!) Too many pictures to show here so we've only posted a few. What a difference a week makes!

Wow! What an incredibly busy, but exciting week here at Mi-NewtKites. A massive thanks to everyone we met with yesterday, and to the people who believe in our passion at Fredericks Foundation! And another amazing invitation this morning from the people of Outset Plymouth who want us to give a talk and presentation on our business development and an interview with the Evening Herald in August! (as that is where our journey began a year ago!) Watch this space!

Positive start to the day :) we've had lots of great feedback on our flying piggy! And spoken to some very interesting people this week! Keep watching and reading for all our updates & info! It's a colder day today with showers so no testing! Hiding inside and continuing production for a while :)

Piggies had a fly :)

We've had a lovely day test flying our newest addition. She flew brilliantly and we got some great photos. The sun was shining and it was perfect kite flying weather :) looking forward to next week when work starts on her 25ft brother!!

Cold day at Mi-NewtKites.

Still awaiting the fitting of our woodburner, we must soldier on though our breath is visible in the cold! Working hard today as Jonathan finishes some piggies :) and Manager does all the hard work! :)

Table goes up!

Our new design table in our studio is up! After a lot of hard graft and some help from friends, our table has gone up and production can begin! Watch the short video here!!

Mi-newtkites is back online!

We spent today organising the design studio ready for work starting monday. We'll keep you posted! Products soon to be on sale so watch this space!

We're relocating!

We will be offline for the next week due to relocating. We are moving to be closer to our work and so will begin production shortly! :)

Design Studio development

The Design Studio is making great progress.

New lights, electrics, staircase and door. Wood burning stove going in soon for those long winter days and then the carpet. Still on schedule to start kite production very soon. 

4m Pilot made ready for lifting!

Just test flown the 4m sq pilot made last week. Unfortunately due to the 100mph winds recently I decided to wait until today!
A light, 8mph wind in a slightly turbulent area, but still she flew strong and straight. All ready now for lifting some dinosaurs!
